Last Friday, QED Structures held this year’s Christmas Social at Brighton Marina. It was a company-wide event, bringing together colleagues from Barcelona, Manchester, Brighton, Hove, London, Watford and Lewes.

We began the afternoon with a 2.5-hour session in a meeting room at the Malmaison. During this time, we enjoyed a 20th-anniversary-themed quiz (perfectly timed to celebrate our 20th work anniversary on the very same day) along with a puzzle race and two excellent speeches from Ian, our Managing Director, and Nigel, our Commercial Director. There was also plenty of time to chat and catch up over coffee in the break area.

Afterwards, we moved to the conservatory in the dining area for pre-dinner drinks, followed by a fantastic three-course meal around a large, shared table. Once dinner had finished, we headed to the lounge area, where we continued the evening with more conversation, drinks and a few card games.

Later on, we left the hotel and made our way to a nearby VR golf pub, where the fun continued with beer pong, AR darts, shuffleboard and shuffle lane. A few people decided to continue the night after that with more drinks, dancing and karaoke!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and great to see everyone having such a good time.
