We are excited to celebrate Bradley, a talented Senior Revit Technician who joined QED 6 months ago in our London office. We recently interviewed Bradley to talk about his journey, experiences, and reflections during his time with us.
What is your name and how long have you been working at QED?
My name is Brad Kiddell, and I’ve been working at QED for 6 months now.
What are your hobbies and interests?
In my free time I like to play golf and spend time with my son and Fiancé doing family activities. I often play some sort of golf 2-3 times a week whether that’s practicing or playing out on the course.
Which office are you based in and how do you travel to work?
I’m based in the London office and travel by train but i also work remotely.
What is your favourite thing about where you live?
My favourite thing about where I live is that it’s quiet and peaceful but also has a lot of things to do. It’s also nice for taking my dog out for walks around the lakes.
When did you go to university and what did you study?
I studied for my HNC of civil engineering at Mid Kent college whilst doing an apprenticeship when I was younger.
What was your last job like and how have you progressed since then?
My previous job was a Revit technician which involved most of the same requirements my role does now, but I have since progressed as a Senior Technician when joining QED. My previous company mainly worked on Highrise residential buildings.
Are there any challenges you have had to overcome since working at QED?
There haven’t been any challenges working at QED so far, it’s been an easy process settling in and getting to work.
What have you enjoyed about your time at QED so far?
I’ve enjoyed the variety of projects that we work on and how welcoming/helpful all the staff have been.
Are there any jobs that stand out? If so, why?
The one project that has stood out for me would be Lydhurst. just because of the complexity when modelling the steel frame and timber floorings at multiple different levels.
