As part of QED’s ongoing Social Value commitment, four members of our Hove team recently spent time volunteering at The Clubhouse, located within Wilding Waterhall, Brighton’s inspiring rewilding project.
During the day, the team helped refresh the space by painting the entrance doors and serving area. These improvements will help maintain a welcoming environment for the many local community groups and charities that use the facility throughout the year.
The Clubhouse plays an important role in supporting the local community. Alongside hosting a variety of groups and organisations, it also provides wellbeing in nature programmes for people experiencing serious mental health difficulties. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Wilding Waterhall landscape, the site offers a unique space for connection, support and recovery.
We are proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference in our local communities and would like to thank The Clubhouse team for welcoming us. It was a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a fantastic project and see first-hand the valuable impact their work has on people’s lives.
At QED, we remain committed to giving back through meaningful social value activities that help strengthen the communities where we live and work.
